The registration to the virtual official Lithuanian Rally Championship is underway. The championship marks its 4th anniversary when it became approved by Lithuanian Automobile Sport Federation. “Atlantis Games e-LARC” is included into official Lithuanian automobile sport calendar and annually attracts more than 250 competitors from 25 countries around the World including some names from international and national rallying in real life as well.
The main changes of 2022 season are a new platform, new classifications and a mono-tire rule, where participants will use medium-hard tires in rallies. Speaking of the latter, it became both: a performance equalizer and a symbolical gesture to mark a new relationship with a new partner.
As many of gamers know Lithuanian “Atlantis Games” e-sports company, this year neighboring Latvian company called “Black and Round” joins as a partner of virtual Lithuanian Championship. The company is a main supplier for the real championship, providing participants with “Pirelli” tires. This year they’re going to symbolically provide the e-racers with the tires as well.
Speaking of a new platform, RallySimFans.hu will be a sole plugin for the “Richard Burns Rally” simulator instead of the Czech plugin that was used for the past three years. Meanwhile new classifications more closely relate to the real Lithuanian Rally Championship. As some of you know, “Atlantis Games e-LARC” rounds are strictly based on real ones with maximum realism in terms of stages, road surface, weather, overall length and other factors. This season the classifications of cars will more closely resemble the real championship as well. Participants will be able to pick almost any car between WRC and BMW, which is an insanely popular Cup rally car in Lithuania.
The virtual rounds will be held two weeks instead of one before the real ones. The first “Atlantis Games e-LARC” round starts on May 5th and will be dedicated to “Rajd Podlaski” in Poland. The participation in the championship is free of charge.
